This is going to be short and sweet, because I’m exhausted and have to go to bed.
I got a ride to work today. It worked out great. I had a good day at work – some projects to do, but also lots of time to sit and stare at the computer.
One highlight at work – the woman who has been training me works for “the big guy” the man who actually founded the firm and who it is named after. He was very nice and I was starstruck!
Eric picked me up at 5:00pm, because he didn’t work today and he took me to an “Urgent Care Clinic” I found in La Jolla where I could get an x-ray of my hand without going to the emergency room of a hospital. My hand has really been hurting me and I was afraid I might have broken bones.
We got there at 5:30pm and I got out at 8:30pm. The good news is – my hand is just badly bruised. No broken bones!
Got home a little before 9:00pm. Made myself a salad and NUTRISYSTEM vegetarian lasagna and Eric had a turkey/Swiss sandwich.
Eric’s not working tomorrow either, so this looks to be a very promising job, don’t you think? I told him to keep looking, but that doesn’t thrill him too much, because it’s no fun looking for a job, as we all know. Anyway, maybe the guy will come to his senses and Eric will actually work another day!
So, I must close, and go rest my hand (which still hurts, but I’m SO happy to know it’s just badly bruised!) and go to sleep.
