Nothing Thrilling To Report!

This is going to be a fast blog entry, because I really have nothing thrilling to report, and I’m exhausted and want to go to sleep!

I spent my day going back and forth between my desk on the 6th floor and my new desk on the 3rd floor in HR.  I did a lot of filing and organizing new resumes for review by the team.

Back on the 6th floor, my trainee handled the PowerPoint presentation we needed to complete today, and then I took care of having it copied and bound and putting together the folders for the meeting next week.

When I got home Eric and I had a fast dinner of leftover ravioli (yes, pasta two days in a row – I feel VERY guilty!).  Then, we had a delicious cantaloupe for dessert.  Eric had cut it into small cubes and it was so sweet and juicy.

We watched LAST COMIC STANDING and tonight was their international competition.  They had comics from all over the world.  The funniest one was a guy who said, “Do firemen really need those poles?  Why don’t they just play cards on the ground floor?”  I thought that was hysterical.

I want to get a good night’s sleep because we’re going to be out late tomorrow night when we go to the San Diego County Fair to see EARTH WIND & FIRE.  Eric will pick me up at work and we’ll just drive a few miles north of Del Mar.  We'll have dinner and then see the concert.  We’re both very excited about seeing EARTH WIND & FIRE in concert for the fourth time.  It should be a lot of fun!
