Just Another Day!

Nothing thrilling to report.  No exciting stories.  No funny anecdotes.  I had a fine day at work.  I got a lot done, and had fun with the girls, as usual.

The highlight of my day was a trip to the coffee cart at 1:00pm for an iced, decaf, non-fat mocha latte.  Yum!

When I got home I went straight to RITE-AID, because I needed to stock up on all my NEUTROGENA products.  I am a true NEUTROGENA girl.  I use no less than 8 of their products – most on a daily basis!  I wash my face at night with their FRESH FOAMING CLEANSER, which has the best make-up remover in it, yet it's very gentle.  I always used to get mascara on my towels, but this gets it all off!

I also use their OIL-FREE MOISTURE with SPF 15 every day under my foundation, and their INTENSIFIED DAY MOISTURE at night – it’s creamier and I put it on a little heavier to sleep.  I use their ALCOHOL-FREE TONER, and their HEALTHY SKIN Anti-Wrinkle, Anti-Blemish (because – unfortunately – I have both) cleanser and clear skin cream.  I should do a commercial for NEUTROGENA, don’t you think?

When I got home from RITE-AID I called Eric and we spoke for a while.  He sounds good.  He asked me to take a picture of myself with my phone and send it to him on his phone, but when I tried it I looked horrible.  I take a terrible picture to begin with, and the phone camera doesn’t do me any good at all.  I thought it was very romantic that he wanted my picture, but I just can’t do it when I look awful!

For dinner I had more sardines (from the same can) with my last serving of edamame and watched ELI STONE, which I recorded last night.  KATIE HOLMES guest starred and did a big song and dance to HIT ME WITH A HOT NOTE -- a DUKE ELLINGTON song.  She was pretty good.  Who knew she could sing and dance?

Then, I watched AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, and TOP DESIGN – two of my favorite reality shows. During commercials I was working on the computer.  The woman who commissioned the three hand mirrors asked me to send her pictures and prices for all the pieces I currently have for sale.  A lot of them are on my crafts blog (www.peppysdream.com/craftsblog), but some of them weren’t, so I had to pull that all together and send it off.

Tomorrow I have to fax a form I received from the RV titling company, so they can be sure I signed in all the right places.  Then, I have to give it to the buyer to sign when he comes and then he'll drop it at the titling company on his way home with the RV.

The buyer is coming Friday night, sleeping in the RV and taking it Saturday morning to be inspected and have the emissions tested (which is REALLY important in California!).  PLEASE keep your fingers crossed that all goes well, because – if it does – I’ll never see that thing again and I’ll get paid on Monday or Tuesday!!!

I LOVED that RV and still have the fondest memories of our trip across the U.S. in it, but the sale has become such a nightmare that I just want this whole episode behind us and never want to look at it again!

Anyway, it’s the end of an era.  I really thought Eric and I would continue traveling around the country in the RV.  We only hit 26 of the 50 states and never did see the Northwestern U.S., but I guess we can always do it in a car.  It’s just that the RV is such a great way to see the country.  I highly recommend it!
