Here’s my day:
1. Turned off the TV last night at around midnight, but couldn’t sleep all night.
4. Get up to go into the shower and realize I really can’t go to work in this condition.
5. Take 3 Advil, call Elsa, and go back to sleep.
6. Wake up at 9:30am to talk to Eric (he called because I didn’t call him at lunchtime (which had just ended for him).
7. Go back to sleep and wake up at 10:50am.
8. Feeling a lot better, I jump in the shower, get dressed, drive to STARBUCKS (I really needed it) and get to work at noon.
9. Have a bowl of cereal for breakfast/lunch and take 3 more Advil, along with a Claritin Daytime for my allergies.
10. Start training the woman who previously trained me while she was on sabbatical, so that she can do my job while I’m on vacation. I also found out they won’t be needing me in HR much longer, so I need to make sure she knows everything for when I’m gone forever (boo hoo!).
11. Catch up on work and leave at 5:00pm.
12. Drive home.
13. Get mail. Good news – I received the green form from DMV proving that I surrendered the RV plates. Now, I just have to fax to insurance company and then mail, so they can cancel the insurance. Will the RV saga finally be at an end?
14. Go through the rest of the mail and then try to take a nap, but I think the Claritin Daytime has me a little “speedy,” so I doze but don’t really get a great nap.
15. Get up at 8:00pm. Make a salad for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow and then watch DANCING WITH THE STARS while I do things around the apartment. Very satisfying. It’s down to the final four and they all wowed tonight!
16. Take 3 more Advil.
17. At 10:00pm I continue with my party favors.
18. Finished decoupaging the last five (Yay! Wheeeee! Woo Hoo!).
19. Finally got ready for bed at 11:30pm.
20. Prayed for a better night’s sleep and less pain from my pulled muscle tomorrow!
1. Turned off the TV last night at around midnight, but couldn’t sleep all night.
2. Finally dozed off and Conrad has one of his “fits” at 4:35am. Toss and turn until the alarm goes off at 5:50am.
3. Reach for alarm to "snooze" and pull a muscle in my back (right by my shoulder blade).4. Get up to go into the shower and realize I really can’t go to work in this condition.
