I didn’t do much today. Oh, I did two loads of laundry, went food shopping, drove thru Starbucks and visited Hillcrest, but it was pretty uneventful overall.
I drove to Hillcrest and posted my VOTE FOR STACIE! sign on the transformer box where we filmed the video, so if Hillary, the artist, came by she would see it, as would all the passers-by.
I also handed out a black-and-white flyer to the girl at the window of my drive-thru STARBUCKS and asked her to put it on the bulletin board. We’re kind of friendly, so I’m hoping she did it for me.
I took another black-and-white one and posted it on the bulletin board at the STARBUCKS around the corner from the transformer box in Hillcrest.
I had also gone through my closet and picked four vintage dresses that I don’t wear anymore and tried to sell them at WEAR IT AGAIN SAM and FLASHBACKS, but both places rejected all four of them. That hurts! I know they’re nothing fabulous, because otherwise I would have kept them, but they’re definitely nice. I told Eric I think they get a thrill from rejecting people’s clothes! I guess I'll either try to sell them with the rest of the stuff I'm not bringing back to NY, or I'll just donate it all!
After that I just got back in the car. My mission to post the VOTE FOR STACIE poster had been accomplished and I had no other reason to stay, except to end up spending money on something somewhere, so I just came back to the apartment.
I just relaxed around the apartment for the rest of the afternoon and evening. I watched TV (last night’s MONK and lots of decorating shows), worked on the computer endlessly (including many votes for STACIE!) and took a nap (although why I was tired I’ll never know!).
So, I have nothing interesting to report, no great stories to tell, and no adventures to regale you with. I guess I have to hope tomorrow is more interesting!
